The VLN championship starts up again this weekend, a series whose races all take place on the old Nurburgring track: the famous Nordschleife. This will be the sixth race of the season, the first of the second part of the championship.

The two Ferraris. As always, two Ferraris are racing in this championship, both in category SP8, with engine displacement between 4,000 and 6,250 cubic centimeters. At the wheel of Ferrari 458 Italia number 138 of the Racing One team will be the usual three drivers: Mike Jager, Stephan Kohler, and Christian Kohlhass. Also participating is Ferrari 458 Challenge number 139 of the NGK Racing team, thus far less fortunate this season, and which has a three British drivers lined up for this race: Robert Smith, Adam James Sharpe, and George Richardson.

Opponents. The category for this 38th edition of the Grenzlandrennen has a particularly high number of participants, with seven cars competing: this time there are three Lexus to beat, as well as an Audi, while Aston Martin is making its debut with a Vantage GT12. The race will begin tomorrow at 12pm and will last four hours.
