B-Quik Racing will take pride of place when B-Quik Co. Ltd. holds the Official Grand Opening of its brand new superstore this weekend (21-23 August) at the Robinsons Lifestyle Center in Buriram.

That’s because the stunning #26 Audi R8 LMS Cup, driven by team leader Henk J. Kiks in Thailand Super Series’ top level ‘Super Car’ category this year, will be on show at the brand new facility.

‘Super Car’ sits at the peak of the Thai motorsport pyramid; it’s contested by cutting edge racing cars and factory teams featuring many professional drivers with hugely experienced and committed engineers to support them. That’s exactly where B-Quik Racing fits in.

The new B-Quik Robinsons Buriram is the latest in a rapid nationwide rollout of new ‘super’ stores and it will be one of the biggest and most sophisticated yet, representing the escalating commitment by B-Quik to bringing the company’s clear benefits and cost savings to motorists nationwide.

The brand new Robinsons Lifestyle Center, optimally positioned on the town’s Buriram-Nangrong Road, immediately raises the retail and leisure benchmarks in Buriram; it’s certainly an ideal location for B-Quik as convenience for customers will be maximised.

It will also mark the first time that B-Quik Racing has been represented at the official Grand Opening Ceremony of a B-Quik store. The racing team, which operates under the B-Quik name through a specific licence use, shares exactly the same values of the company, an unrelenting commitment to excellence, perfect teamwork and a natural ability to thrive under pressure.

All our technicians are drawn from the B-Quik’s staff pool with the knowledge gained through the extreme pressures and teamwork required for success on the racetrack also feeding the other way into the company.

The Audi R8 LMS Cup is one of the most sophisticated racecars in operation in circuit racing today. Based around an Audi-designed aluminium spaceframe chassis fitted with a mix of aluminium and carbon fibre body panels it’s powered by a direct injection 5.2-litre V10 engine with 560 hp and over 500 Nm of torque available. That power is fed to the rear wheels while it has adjustable dampers on all four corners and adjustable roll bars at the front and rear. Featuring Traction Control (TC) and ABS as well as a Limited Slip Differential (LSD) and a 6-speed sequential transmission it’s a potent ‘high tech’ machine that can only be operated by the most skilled personnel.

The #26 Audi R8 LMS Cup is driven by Henk J. Kiks in Thailand Super Series 2015. The car also raced to the runners up spot in the world famous MMER Sepang 12 Hours last year and is set to make another appearance in a prestigious international endurance race later this year.

The team is actually operating two Audi R8 LMS Cup machines this year as a second example is competing in Audi’s pan-Asian ‘Audi R8 Cup’ one make series and that car is currently en route for the next round, which will take place at Sepang International Circuit (Malaysia) on September 5-6. The #26 car meanwhile, after its headline appearance at B-Quik Robinsons Buriram this weekend, will immediately return to the team’s raceshops in Bangkok to be prepared for the next round of Thailand Super Series, which will take place at Bira International Circuit on September 11-13.

The brand new B-Quik Robinsons Buriram is located within the Robinsons Lifestyle Center complex on Buriram-Nangrong Road (Route 218), mid-point between the intersections with Route 226 and 288. The Official Grand Opening will take place this weekend (21-23 August) with hundreds of special discount promotions available to motorists as well as other activities. Customers will be able to see the #26 Audi R8 Cup on display all weekend.
