In order to optimize the budget of the teams required to prepare and maintain todays GT cars, the V de V ENDURANCE SERIES is offering a race schedule with shorter races and fewer free practice sessions during the race weekends. A full season in the championship will amount to less than 60 hours of track time, including practice, qualifying and races throughout the year .
The provisional calendar for 2014 is:
- Barcelona–March 21-22-23(4 hours race)
- Le Mans –April 18-19-20 (3 or 4 hours race)
- Paul Ricard–May 30-31 mai – June 1 (4 hours race)
- Monza, Mugello or Dijon –June 27-28-29(3 or 4 hours race)
- Motorland Aragon –August 29-30-31: (4, 6 or 12 hours race)
- Magny-Cours–October 10-11-12 (4 or 6 hours race)
- Estoril–November 7-8-9 (4 or 6 hours race)
The cars accepted in the series are classified according to their level of performance:
GTV 1 :
- GT1 FIA.
- GT2 FIA.
- GTE FIA.
- GT3 FIA & GT3 ASN from 2010.
GTV 2 :
- GT3 FIA & GT3 ASN before 2010.
GTV 3 :
- Grand Touringfrom one make manufacturers Cup or Challenge. (Porsche 997 Cup, Ferrari Challenge…)
GTV 4 :
- GT4. (Ginetta G50, Porsche 996 Cup, Porsche Cayman S – Cup, Porsche 993 Cup, RS, Porsche 964 Cup, RS, Aston Martin Vantage, BMW M3 GT4)
Silhouettes :
- Silhouette evo with V6 or V8 engines.
- Gr. A, Gr. N, Super Touring, Superproduction, F2000, GT. (GC 10, Seat
Leon, Clio Cup, Touring Cup, MéganeTrophy)
Entry fee rebate is given according to the classes entered:
GTV 2 & Silhouettes 1 will receive a 20 % discount on their entry fee. GTV 3 30 %.
GTV 4 & Silhouettes 50%.
The last two races of the 2013 Endurance GT season will be held in Magny- Cours on October 25-26-27 and in Estoril on November 15 -16 both with a 6 Hours race format.
