American bespoke sports car brand Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has appointed Alastair Bols as its representative in the United Kingdom, whose mission will be to strengthen the brand and enhance contacts within the local market.
Bols is renowned for his expertise in sourcing some of the world’s most desirable cars both for the track and the road, having built a successful business and dealership around these activities. He has worked with the industry’s top brands, travelling the globe to secure collectable cars.
He will now become the primary point of reference for prospective British customers wishing to know more about the SCG003 and Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus.
The United Kingdom’s passion for motorsport and racing cars is well-known, with the majority of Formula One teams based in the UK and a veritable army of British fans heading out the world’s top endurance races, such as the Le Mans 24 Hours and Nurburgring 24 Hours – where the SCG003C will compete once more in May.
“I’m very much looking forward to this important collaboration with Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, which in a short space of time has really made its mark on the automotive world as a whole and the world of motorsport in particular” said Bols. “I can foresee a lot of interest in the car in the United Kingdom, so my aim will be to promote SCG’s unique position in the market and work closely with interested clients to ensure a bespoke level of service.”
Program Director Paolo Garella, who oversees the technical development and build of the cars in Italy, concluded: “We are delighted to have Alastair join our team. He is a passionate and motivated individual, whose expertise will bring a lot to Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, and whose reputation will greatly help us to increase the profile of the brand.”
