On to Austria! The fourth round of the ADAC GT Masters takes ROWE RACING to the Red Bull Ring (June 6-8, 2014). The circuit in Spielberg marks another first for the German-based newcomers in the super sports car league. Once again, Maro Engel (Monaco) and Jan Seyffarth (Germany) as well as Jaime Alguersuari (Spain) and Nico Bastian (Germany) will be racing the team’s two SLS AMG GT3s. In Austria, both pairings want to build on their results from the previous weekend at Lausitzring, where all four starts were converted into top ten classifications.

ROWE RACING’s team principal, Hans-Peter Naundorf, is accordingly confident for his commitment at Red Bull Ring: “Of course, for a team that is taking on its first season in a new series, every race is a new challenge. However, our learning curve in the ADAC GT Masters unmistakably points into the right direction, namely to the top, and that is exactly where we want to be!”

Both races at the Red Bull Ring mark the end of the first half of the 2014 ADAC GT Masters season that consists of eighth double-header weekends. The 4.326 kilometres long Red Bull Ring stands out for its undulation: the maximum incline is 12%, the maximum drop is 9.3% – a characteristic profile that should suit the ROWE RACING team which, after all, has plenty of experience on the Nordschleife.
