The ROWE RACING team only just having missed out by 0.453 seconds on its maiden ADAC GT Masters podium finish at the Nürburgring, the team from Worms is all the more motivated for the round at the Sachsenring. From September 19 till 21, 2014, the undulating circuit is the venue for the seventh and penultimate season round of the series.

ROWE RACING’s team principal, Hans-Peter Naundorf, is gearing up for the final part of the Masters season with his usual pair of SLS AMG GT3s. Jaime Alguersuari (Spain) and Nico Bastian (Germany) are racing the gullwing with number 22. Maro Engel (Monaco) and Jan Seyffarth (Germany) are competing with the number 23 sister car. Both driver pairings managed to rack up a total of twelve top ten results for ROWE RACING in their maiden ADAC GT Masters season already.

“We are looking forward to the Sachsenring. The cars are perfectly prepared and everyone in the team is highly motivated. In our first ADAC GT Masters season, our performance curve continues to show upward. Our most recent race at the Nürburgring confirmed this as well, in spite of the retirements for which we weren’t to blame. We are getting closer to the podium positions and with a little bit of luck, it could happen at the Sachsenring. The team has already deserved it for a long time,” ROWE RACING’s team principal, Hans-Peter Naundorf emphasizes.

Like at every ADAC GT Masters round, a pair of 60 minutes’ races is scheduled at the Sachsenring as well. The 3.671 kilometres long track could bring about an early decision in the battle for the series’ title. In the drivers’ standings, ROWE RACING drivers Jan Seyffarth and Maro Engel are ranked 14th with 57 points. Jaime Alguersuari and Nico Bastian, who have only raced in the series from the third meeting onwards, are in 27th place with 16 points.
