After nine top ten results in the super sports car league, ROWE RACING has declared a podium finish as its goal. The next opportunity to achieve this is the upcoming ADAC GT Masters round at the Nürburgring next weekend (August 29 – 31, 2014).
In the Eifel, the team from Worms in Germany is again running a pair of SLS AMG GT3 cars. Jaime Alguersuari (Spain) and Nico Bastian (Germany) will be sharing driving duties in the gullwing with starting number 22. Maro Engel (Monaco) and Jan Seyffarth (Germany) will race the sister car with starting number 23.
“The upcoming round at the Nürburgring is the first of our two home races in the ADAC GT Masters this season. The Nürburgring is like our backyard, we have achieved a lot of success here in the past years. Most recently so last Saturday in the VLN six-hour race that we managed to win for the third year in a row. We are accordingly confident going into the next race weekend and we also hope for the strong support from our fans here. In any case, we will do our utmost and we are perfectly prepared,” ROWE RACING’s team principal, Hans-Peter Naundorf says.
The Nürburgring weekend is the sixth of eighth race events on the 2014 ADAC GT Masters calendar. Two races of 60 minutes each will be held at the 5.148 kilometres long Grand Prix track. Like in every ADAC GT Masters race, there is a mandatory pit stop with driver change halfway through the race.
