With this weekend’s TOTAL 24 HOURS OF SPA, ROWE RACING will be taking on another endurance racing highlight. The team from Worms in Germany will be running one racing gullwing in the fourth round of the Blancpain Endurance Series, the legendary 24-hour race at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
At the race track in the Ardennes, Nico Bastian (GER), Stef Dusseldorp (NED) and Daniel Juncadella (ESP) will be alternating behind the wheel of the SLS AMG GT3 with starting number 99. The entry list for Spa includes 57 competitors. In the strongest class, the PRO CUP, 23 further cars will be racing together with the ROWE RACING SLS. The successful team has been able to continuously improve its achievements in the series since the start of the season. A top ten result is the goal that ROWE RACING’s team principal, Hans-Peter Naundorf, has set for himself.
“We are expecting a tough race with strong competition. Nevertheless, we reckon that our chances are good. We have used the test at Spa to prepare for the race in the best possible way. We have plenty of experience in endurance racing, our drivers were able to adapt themselves to each other and the set-up is right, too. Now, the action can start,” Naundorf says.
