The popular and successful Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 car will be well represented at the Baku World Challenge by Aztexnika on 23/24 November as the GRT Grasser Racing team have announced an additional car to their usual entry in the FIA GT Series.

Two of the spectacular V10 powered Grasser Lamborghini’s will be roaring through the Baku streets as the team field an extra car for all-Slovakian driving team, of Stefan Rosina and Filip Sladecka. Rosina is already a race winner this season having shared the Blancpain Reiter Lamborghini with Peter Kox to victory at Zolder in April. Sladecka raced a BMW Z4 for the BMW Sports Trophy Team India squad at Slovakia Ring and Navarra and has already experienced the Lamborghini with the GRT Grasser Racing team at this season’s 6 Hours of Brno.

The GRT Grasser Racing squad has enjoyed a very competitive year in the FIA GT Series, where regular drivers in the Pro-Am class, Dominik Baumann and Hari Proczk, are fighting for the driver’s title. After a victory at Zandvoort and six other podium finishes they are still in a battle with the HTP Gravity Charouz team to take the Pro-Am class silverware. Currently Baumann and Proczyk are 19-points adrift of their rivals but have 34-points to fight for in Baku!

Speaking about the FIA GT Series team owner and occasional driver, Gottfried Grasser said: “We will run the No 25 Lamborghini with Hari Proczyk and Dominik Baumann who will fight for Pro Am Title. Now we are proud to start a second car for the first time in our FIA GT Series history with Stefan Rosina and Filip Sladecka. We think the street course will suit our Lamborghini very well and we are looking forward to achieving some good results at this mega event in Baku! We are so happy to be going there!”

Grasser will be among a strong field of FIA GT Series cars at the inaugural Baku World Challenge by Aztexnika over the weekend of 23-24 November. More teams and drivers set to be announced over the coming weeks in the build-up to the big event!
