“My life long ambition has been to compete in LMP cars and I have also contested a few rounds in the European Masters with Raw Racing …… I relish the challenge of driving at such a high level and look forward to working with my new team RLR Msport and Nick Reynolds.”
Morten Dons
ELMS Race Winner @ Imola 2015 (RLR Msport), British GT – GT4 Team Champion 2014 (Century Motorsport), Swedish Ginetta GT5 Challenge Champion 2013, Danish Formula Ford Champion 2011
“I am very happy to join forces with RLR Msport for this year’s LMP3 campaign in the ELMS. I was honestly impressed with their effort last season when we raced and won together at Imola. With the new Ligier JSP3, I believe I have found the winning formula. Since 2012, my aim has been to debut at Le Mans in 2017. Joining RLR Msport is definitely the right place to be for my last season before reaching my goal. Nick and his team have already raced there, so I’m eager to work with such professional people.
For me, racing in the ELMS is an important part of my preparations towards 2017 and racing at Le Mans. I expect the competition in the LMP3 class to be tougher than last year, so we will have to do our very best to be in the top.”
Ross Warburton
Ross Warburton has been racing classics for ten years, competing at events such as the Goodwood Revival, Le Mans classic and Spa 6 Hours in his Lightweight Jaguar E-Type and Chevron B8.
However, he didn’t start racing modern machinery until 2014 when he competed in the 24 Hours of Dubai with Speedworks Motorsport. After a successful debut which saw him win the SP3 class with the team, Warburton continued in the seat for the following races at Mugello and Zandvoort.
He returned to the team for 2015 for a full 24H series campaign, alongside his classic racing and work commitments as executive director for the Warburton’s family bakery.
