Orlando-based P1 Groupe is excited to announce the partnership with Benoit Morand and Team Morand Racing SA effective immediately. P1 Groupe will work in the capacity as the official motorsports partner for all United States contract dealings for Team Morand Racing SA. As a part of that relationship P1 Groupe is already negotiating with drivers for the 2016 racing season in series that include, but not limited to, the WeatherTech United SportsCar Championship (Prototype), World Endurance Championship (LM P2), European Le Mans Series (LMP3) for Team Morand Racing SA.

With the agreement between P1 and Team Morand coming to its official beginning, P1 Groupe President, Eric Burch, had nothing but positive comments regarding the relationship with Benoit Morand and his team moving forward. “We’re already off to a great start with Team Morand.  Benoit and I share the same vision for putting programs together, and it feels like we’ve been working together for years.  Team Morand Racing has an experienced team, and a great deal of exciting opportunities ahead; all of us at P1 Groupe are looking forward to being part of their future success on and off the race track.”

Team Morand Racing Principal, Benoit Morand echoed Burch’s sentiments. “Team Morand is very happy with this new partnership with P1 Groupe and Eric Burch. In recent years endurance championships have developed all across the world. While we have been  present in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) this year, Team Morand, through this association, will power through the expertise of P1 Groupe in the States. P1 Groupe has a base in the United States and will set up a chain of pilots and U.S. partners.”

Morand continued, “The first contact with Eric right after I had met him assured me that he is a very passionate and serious person, with whom we will be able to develop a good partnership in the coming years.”
