In parallel to the development of its activities in North America and the creation of the Onroak Automotive North America branch in 2015, the French constructor is hard at work deploying the resources necessary in Asia to meet the needs linked to the Asian Le Mans Series, and the new Asian Le Mans Series Sprint Cup.

In May, Onroak Automotive is opening a branch at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia in the centre of the motor sport and motor car activities in Asia. In its workshop in the heart of the circuit, Onroak Automotive will be in a position to offer a customer backup service as well as spare parts for its different models racing in the CN, LM P3 and LM P2 categories on the Asian continent. This branch will provide a rapid-intervention service to meet the needs of the teams while optimising transport costs. This is how Onroak Automotive intends to accompany the teams racing its sports prototypes in one or other or both series.

Jacques Nicolet, President of Onroak Automotive: “While continuing the promotion of the Asian Le Mans Series that has undergone a real revival since last year, the ACO is also organising a new series, the Asian Le Mans Sprint Cup, which complements the first one and is in total harmony with the coming development of endurance racing in Asia. Thus, it’s important for us to be present on the spot, not only as a constructor which supplies cars for the two series, but also to support this project and to become involved with the local teams and players. Opening this branch at Sepang means we’ll have a human and technical presence in situ, and by setting up a supply system of spare parts, we’ll make it easier for our clients to organise things while we continue our on-going quest to give them the greatest possible satisfaction.”
