Announced in late March 2016 by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the arrival of Norma on the O icial Constructors list for the LMP3 Category has strengthened the motivation of Norbert Santos’ team, the Founder of the company based in Saint-Pé de Bigorre in southwestern France.
In addition to studies conducted internally by Norma’s design desk since the summer of 2015, a significant collaboration was also implemented in recent months with the engineering o ice at Tatuus, to validate an innovative process for design and development which entirely focused on optimising performance.
The time has now come for Norma to unveil the design of its new prototype and start production of the first Norma LMP3 era, a resolutely ambitious Norma bearing the o icial name of NorMA M30, especially celebrating 30 years of the company.
If several teams have already expressed a very strong interest in this new LMP3, Norma nevertheless intends to limit the number of M30 that will be produced in order to guarantee our teams partners a service that we hope will be exceptional.
A new logo that marks the future ambitions of Norma
Taking advantage of this announcement, Norma Auto Concept company is also very proud to unveil its new logo; a dynamic, modernised logo, which incorporates the historical colors of the brand that will gradually appear on its prototypes in the coming months.

(NB: TDS Racing will shortly and directly provide all the details of its future LMP3 program)
Norbert santos (Founder of Norma Auto Concept) : «This is another very important moment in the history of Norma that we are in the middle of writing. We put a lot of resources and energy into the design of the M30. This will not only be a beautiful car but, we are convinced, it is also a performance car that will meet the expectations of our future partner teams. As such, I wish to very warmly thank Xavier Combet and Jacques Morello from TDS Racing for the speed with which they wished to formalise our agreements. I think they were both convinced of the relevance of our work. This is a first extremely important partnership that will allow us to prepare our launch in the best possible way. Other teams have already made clear their intention to join us. These are trusted brands that a ect us, whilst the first car will only be, as scheduled, assembled at the end of the summer. Our new logo reflects the 30 years of Norma. It’s already a beautiful story. But the most important part we are yet to write and today Norma is already looking to the future. We are ready.»
Xavier Combet (Team Manager TDS Racing) : «The arrival of Norma in LMP3 was expected by many teams. We all know the quality of the prototypes produced by Norbert Santos’ team. When we were quite recently able to discover the technical program being implemented around the design of the M30, we were immediately seduced. We are convinced that this new car will enable TDS drivers to shine out in a category that we will join with a strong enthusiasm and a lot of ambition. Our LMP3 program will be announced soon. But for the moment, it’s all about the 24 Hours of Le Mans!»
