What a finish! Excitement till the last lap for the ultimate round of the 2013 V de V Endurance Series in Estoril.
Team Palmyr just needed to finish the race in fourth position to clinch the title. But with a drive through penalty for having too many mechanics in the pitlane during their last driver change with a minute to go left in the race, it was not an easy task!
David Zollinger managed to do just that and brought his Norma back home in 4th position to clinch the title.
Without any surprises, the Norma CD Sport of Accary-Delafosse-Paillard finished first 18’’022 seconds ahead of another Norma of Capillaire- Cavailhes-Gelin disgusted to lose the title by such a small margin!
On the last step of the podium to the satisfaction of Norbert Santos, Norma’s boss present in Estoril was the CD Sport team of Dannielou-Pialat.
The Tatuus factory team finished in 5th while the two other Tatuus of team Extreme ended up in 6th and 7th.
A difficult weekend for the Praga chassis who had a severe crash during practice, same for the manufacturer Gibson who encountered several problems throughout the weekend. The Ligier of Oak Racing ended up finishing 11th following mechanical problems with Yann Zimmer and Olivier Pla.

Already declared champion during the previous round in Magny-Cours the IMSA Performance team won their 5th race of the season with their Porsche GT3-R.
The team composed of Belloc-Gibon-Bourret won another 6 Hours of Estoril ahead of another Porsche GT3-R driven by Perrodo-Crubilé-Collard and the Mosler Chevrolet 7 litres of Campos–Kanaroglou in third.
Big deception for the Visiom Ferrari of Jean Paul Pagny-Thierry Perrier-Jean Bernard Bouvet handicapped with a defective differential. Another disappointment for the Porsche GT3-R of team Almeras with a blown engine with two hours to go in the race.
In GTV3 class, the Porsche of team Nourry driven by David Loger and Eric Mouez is first followed by the Porsche Cup of team Crubilé with Mallegol- Bachelier and the American Howard Blank. In third, is Team RMS with Swiss drivers Spirgi and Nicolaidis.
In GTV2, behind the untouchable Mosler, a superb duel between the Porsche Lorient, driven by Benjamin Roy and the Demorge brothers and Team TFT of Bernard & Olivier Salam and Jacques Andre Dupuy.
