There were some rumours about since a while saying that Creation could be a DNS next June at Le Mans for the 24 Hours. Michael Jankowski, Creation Team Principal, has denied this rumour and has said to E-I :
“We are working hard on a number of revisions on the car for the Le Mans 24 hours. We’ve paid our entry and we will be there in June. We have yet to finalise our driver line up and that is something we are in negotiation with at this present moment, with some very good prospects. Creation as a team is dedicated to sports car racing and is a staunch supporter of the most famous race in the world”.

Andy Woolgar, Creation Commercial Manager and US Activities added :

“We will be debuting a new livery design at Le Mans, which will have a distinct North Carolina flavour, representing some new and existing partners from the region. Creation this year is entered as the only American entrant in the P1 class, further underlining our commitment to the State of North Carolina. We’ll also be helping to promote leading UK Indie music band ‘Doves’ as they release their new album ‘Kingdom of Rust’ and embark on tour in North America and Canada, so its all exciting stuff. Furthermore we are looking forward to after Le Mans. We plan to return to the ALMS Series, when we are ready”.

The Creation CA07-Judd is effectively entered as an American car and Creation Autosportif has tied close links with the North Carolina state whose flag was already on the works car last year at Le Mans

We do thank Michael Jankowski and Andy Woolgar,

Claude Foubert
