The next round of the International GT Open in Brands Hatch will see the debut of the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 in the series. The German machine will make its first appearance thanks to Portuguese team Sports & You, which has officially confirmed the entry for the rest of the season in the GTS category.

The Lusitanian squad managed by Paulo Ferreira is currently and successfully participating in the Spanish GT Championship / IBER GT with its two cars. In the GT Open the Sports & You Mercedes will be entrusted to a new and promising pair, composed of two young Italian drivers coming from single-seater formulae: Nicola De Marco (21), who has recently shone in Formula Two and in the Spanish F3 Championship, and Marcello Puglisi (25), who has a past in F3000 and in the International Formula Master.
