The Ferrari F430 of the italian team AF Corse is the fastest car in
the qualifying of the “12 Hours of Sebring”, prestigious endurance race included in the International Le Mans Series Calendar (ILMC). The italian car, driven by the crew Giancarlo Fisichella-Gianmaria Bruni-Pierre Kaffer, will start from the pole position on the GTE Pro category grid.
The qualifying result is a perfect mix between the crew excellent performance and the team efficient support. The feel is very positive in AF Corse and is giving confidence boost into the box.
The F430 is again a very fast car, among team which are tested their cars for many day before the “12 Hours of Sebring”. However, winning the race will not be easy against opponenst such as Corvette and BMW.
The three drivers Fisichella-Bruni-Kaffer are satisfied with the performance and they say that the feeling is very positive with the Michelin tires. The “12 Hours of Sebring” is the last race which Af Corse will run with the F430 in the ILMC.
The next race, the protanist will be the new F458.
The “12 Hours of Sebring” starts at 10.30 am (Florida hours).
