The professional racer from Molsberg will again take part in Germany’s greatest race. On his favourite racetrack, the venerable Nürburgring Nordschleife, he will drive a Dodge Viper for Team Vulkan Racing-Mintgen Motorsport.

 
“The Viper will be a completely new experience for me but I am looking forward to this drive very much. I have had a look at the radiant green car on the Nürburgring. Michael Mintgen, Manfred Sattler and their whole team have really made a first class job. I think that with this ambitious, professional team and this well balanced crew of drivers, we can come up with a good result.”, says Kaufmann.

 
On the Nordschleife, the Viper has proven its merit on more than one occasion in previous years. Vulkan Racing is a regular contender in the German Endurance Championship with this American supercar, and has years of experience with the 8,3l V10 engined car.

 
The car represents the latest Oreca specification, with several modifications developed by Vulkan Racing, and is renowned for its endurance racing qualities.
The Nürburgring 24 Hour race takes place from May 13 to 16.
