The livery of the Beechdean Mansell Motorsport Ginetta Zytek GZ09S that Nigel Mansell will race this year in the 2010 Le Mans Series with sons Leo and Greg will be on show at the Autosport International Show this weekend at the NEC in Birmingham (14-17 January 2010). The 2010 colour scheme features the Union Flag draped over the rear of the car and is a direct link with the famous Mansell helmet colour scheme. Also seen for the first time is the new Beechdean Mansell Motorsport logo that will adorn the team’s trucks, clothing and merchandise and again features the red, white and blue logo.
Beechdean Mansell Motorsport Team Principle, Andrew Howard said: “We are very excited about the new livery and the new logo, which gives the team a very distinct presence. We are a British team with a British racing legend at the wheel so it made perfect sense to use the Union flag on the car, which is also the colours carried by Mansell family since the 1980s. The car will certainly stand out at all of the LMS races, especially at the Le Mans 24-Hours, assuming we get an entry.”
The Beechdean Mansell Motorsport Ginetta Zytek GZ09S, complete with Beechdean Farmhouse Dairy Ice Cream logos, can be seen at the Autosport International Show on the Brookland Speed International stand (stand number 6050) from Thursday 14 January until Sunday 17 January.
