With the 2010 GT4 European Cup calender just released, we already know that Michael Mallock will once again be running next season. “I will be back in the series,” confirmed Michael.  ”We just missed out on the title this year and our objective will of course be to win.  For this, I will again be driving for the RS Williams team in the Aston Martin.  I’m ready to get started as I know we have a competitive car and that the circuits suit our car.  We are waiting for the final technical regulations to make a few modifications.  The 2010 season will be interesting.”

“Meanwhile, the calendar is not ideal for me,” he adds.  “I’m also hoping to run in the Le Mans Series and there is a clash between Spa and the GT4 season opener in Dijon.  I’m also in discussions to run in WTCC and BTCC after my good test with Chevrolet last month.  There as well a few dates clash, notably Algarve falling the same weekend as the Goodwood Revival.”

A few months ago, the British pilot told us of his desire to race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.  This is a project that’s still in the works: “I really hope to be at the start next June, but if I have to miss the Spa round, this will not help things.  I’m also looking across the Atlantic where I might run a few races.”  His Le Mans Series debut may start with prototypes.  One thing is for sure, Michael’s season is getting full…
