The Swiss Racing Team will enter the newly announced FIA GT1 world championship as “official Nissan customer team” in 2010 with two Nissan GT-R.

Othmar Welti (team principal): “After providing technical support for teams like Jetalliance and K plus K in the GT1 championship over the past three years, the time has come to take charge ourselves. We’re happy to have a strong partner on our side in Nissan and a competitive car in the GT-R.”

Erich Kolb (team manager): “It’s important to establish a second line of business in economically difficult times. The Nismo project is an ideal addition to our Formula 3 commitment and enables young drivers to move up to GT racing.”
