A quick update on some long-awaited news about the Dome S102.  Unfortunately, the Japanese prototype was not seen on track this year.  The association between Dome and ECO Speed having never come to fruition, the magnificent S102-Judd never reappeared, neither in Europe or Japan. 

Nevertheless, we can still hope to see it next season.  We know that the economic crisis that hit Japan particularly hard is one of the main reasons for the Dome’s absence this year.  Hiroshi Yuchi, Head of Research and Development at Dome, confirmed that the japanese constructor is presently working on the possibility of having a 2010 program. Although nothing is certain, development on the car continues, most notably in the wind tunnel (see photo).  We can see, among other things, the rear wing assembly attached at the top, in the Acura ARX-02a or Audi R15 fashion.
