Special day for AfCorse. Amato Ferrari’s team, guest on Fiorano track, had an important test with Jean Alesi driving a Ferrari 430 GT2. For the French driver was like coming back home. Fiorano, Maranello and Ferrari are part of his life. Alesi was an official driver of the Scuderia Ferrai Malboro from 1991 to 1995 and today drove a “red car” once again. Thanks to the nice weather, a long job was done in Fiorano, much more important than a simple test. Jean drove for a long time, for 65 laps. Very fast and steady since from the first contact with the car, lap after lap the timings improved constantly arriving at the best one 1.15.80 with the 430 GT2 FIA GT set up.

Amato Ferrari really appreciated the work done by the French driver. Alesi, professional and concentrated, was since the beginning in tune with the technicians; he was very satisfied too with  this test day. As soon as he got out of the 430 GT2 he praised the high performance and the easy driving features that allow the driver to find easily the potential of the car. Common satisfaction for both: in fact Amato is already thinking of lining up Alesi in LMS championship 2010 and maybe also for the 24 hour race in Le Mans. Jean Alesi is enthusiastic too for this plan and he will be happy to have other further test days.
