Thomas and Luc Alphand Aventures Team are finally reshuffling, after missing the participation in the last race held on September 20th in Portimao, due to a great fire to the team track on the way back from Budapest that has completely burned up Corvette Z06, repalcements and many personal objects of the Italian driver (among which 2 helmets). After the seventh step of FIA GT Championship on the futuristic Paul Ricard French track (thanks to technological and wide escape ways), that opens again its gates to the public after 10 years. Last presence in FIA GT dates back to 2006 when Thomas from the boxes ended up the race with a third place after a after a very good recovery.

Hereafter the words of the Italian driver: “It was hard for the team and me not driving in Portimao, I don’t deny. Just a few days ago I have had the confirmation that we could go back to races. In the meanwhile I have received various calls by other teams that knew about our accident toffering me a presence in Portimao. I have refused becaused it was important for me to be close to my team in this moment. True friends come out in troubled times. During this race “at home”, I am very determined in giving to “Luc Alphand Aventures” my best and thoose satisfactions they deserve for the great effort made to go back on track, a track that seems favourable to Corvette peculiarities. Personally I am also improving my feeling with the car after the fifth place in Oschersleben and the fourth in Budapest…”
