Autorlando Sport, the team that has led Porsche’s assault in the International GT Open in the last two years, has confirmed that Richard Lietz and Gianluca Roda will continue to be its leading pair in the 2009 International GT Open. The Austro-Italian pair was a close vice-champion last year, after winning five races and fighting for the crown until the very last lap of the season.
Lietz, who is a Porsche works driver and is regarded as one of the best GT drivers of his generation, took the championship for Autorlando in 2007 together with Joël Camathias from Switzerland.
Autorlando Sport will have again a strong and qualified presence in the International GT Open, with 3 or 4 cars. The Bergamo-based team of Orlando Redolfi is currently busy closing the deals with the other drivers and finalizing the technical package for 2009.
