KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) travels to the land of the rising sun for Asian Le Mans Series’ second event at the scenic Fuji Speedway on September 22. The international motorsport group is keen to maintain the winning momentum it gained in South Korea during the inaugural event of the Asian sports car endurance racing series in August.

Represented by Richard Bradley, Kazuhiro Koizumi and James Winslow, KCMG intends to vie for their second victory in the LMP2 category. The 3 Hours of Fuji gives the team a new challenge, testing both car and drivers’ endurance to the limit on Fuji’s 4.56km high-speed track.

Richard Bradley, KCMG Super Formula/Asian Le Mans Driver: “I’ve been looking forward to this race for a long time, as it will be my first time driving the LMP2 car. I am confident that we have a strong team in Koizumi-san, James and myself and I am looking forward to continuing the success the team had in Inje.”

Kazuhiro Koizumi, KCMG Asian Le Mans Driver: “I’m very familiar with Fuji Speedway as it is my home track and I’m happy to be racing there in Asian Le Mans with KCMG. I’m confident that my team-mates and I will do well this weekend. My goal is to deliver strong results and to help the team score a second victory in Japan!”

James Winslow, KCMG Asian Le Mans Driver: “I’m very happy to be back with KCMG. They are a great professional team with the same goals as I – to win races and championships. I’m excited about working with my new team mates – both are Fuji track experts and have raced here many times in Super Formula and Formula 3 and I’ll be looking to learn the track as quickly as possible. As Korea showed, when you have a good team and car it makes life a lot easier for the drivers! The team and I will be looking to build on our championship lead and take as many points away from Japan as possible.”

Paul Ip, KCMG Managing Director: “We have been on this great track numerous times, competing in Formula and GT races. This time we will be in Fuji to race in a Le Mans event. The team and I are looking forward to running our Morgan-Nissan Le Mans prototype with a new driver line up, which I have full confidence in. The competition is tight but we’re aiming for a second win in a row!”
