GDL Racing will line-up two cars at the 24 Hours of Barcelona, next weekend (September 6-8). The Ravenna-based team, already at the top in the endurance Dubai race on early January, will take part of the Spanish appointment with a Mercedes SLS GT3 and a Porsche 997.
Driver and team manager Gianluca De Lorenzi, Brit Robert Nearn and the two Dutch racers Ivo Breukers and Bert de Heus will share the wheel of the three pointed star’s car, while Italians Dario Paletto and Roberto Fecchio, Malaysian Lim Keong Liam and Singaporean Tan Wee Jun Gerald will drive the Porsche.
For the GDL Racing team it will be the first time at the prestigious Montmeló race, with an entry-list of more than 60 cars. “In the last years we improved a lot in the endurance series and today we can say we have enough experience to aim to the top-positions. - Gianluca De Lorenzi stated – We go to Bercelona to fight for the first places”.
