The popular GT racing series Blancpain Endurance Series is at its midpoint with third round of the championship at Circuit Paul Ricard in the South of France this weekend.

Danish racing team Insight Racing, based in Baldersbrønde near Roskilde, is looking to come back stronger after a disappointing second round at Silverstone, where setup issues, mistakes and penalties hampered the Ferrari outfit.

In spite of the low key results in the second round, the Danish duo in the white, blue and red Ferrari 458 Italia is still in the top ten in the championship after a strong start to the season.

Martin Jensen, driver and Team Manager: “We had a tough weekend last time out, but that is motorsport in a nutshell. Sometimes it will not go your way. Paul Ricard, however, is one of my favorite tracks, so we have high hopes. We have been analysing in detail what happened at Silverstone, we have evaluated the updates we made on the 458 Italia before last race and optimised the car further. Hopefully, we have learned even more and I think we will be able to drive at a steadier pace. That said, what happened with our car at Silverstone baffled us. With the updates we fitted, the car was well balanced and very easy to drive, but the laptimes weren’t there. We need to find the very narrow, right window, where it performs how we want it to. We should have come away with points at Silverstone, but we are still in with a chance in Pro-Am. In racing, you will not win if you lean back and do nothing. You have to try some changes to gain something.”
