Two new drivers for PMB Motorsport…

Joining the line up of the Porsche 996 GT2-R of the Belgian team is Jonathan Hirschi.; who will be driving alongside Vannelet, Kaufmann and Ullman. Normally, the Swiss drives in the Renault Megane Eurocup. Meanwhile Jean-Charles Perrin finds himself a seat in the sister car next to Tremblay, Nrury and Lapierre. The Parisian is currently flying here from Canada, so he should arrive before qualifying.

 

Corvettes in the lower paddock…

Just to note that all the Corvette teams are based in the old Paddock, like other teams such as Barwell, First Motorsport and PMB Motorsport.

 

No Fourth driver for DKR Engineering…

Finally the Sangari Team Brazil will have just three drivers for the 24 Hours, composing of Xavier Maassen, Enrique Bernoldi and Roberto Streit.

 

Bryce Miller becomes a Platinum driver…

The drivers of the GT2 categorie are divided into three groups: Bronze, Gold and Platinum; the most performing drivers possessing the Platinum badge. For the Porsche 997 GT3-RSR of Prospeed Competition No.61, the drivers Maro Holzer and Martin Ragginger are Gold badge holders, and Bryce Miller is now considered as a Platinum badge holder.

 

Kurt Mollekens on track in a GT4…

As to try out the Maserati GranTurismo MC Concept, Kurt Mollekens will take to the track of the Italian GT car for Free Practice, Kurt being a Test Driver for SRO.

 

Robert Dierick in the Saleen Full Speed…

If Fernando Monfardini should be the leader of the Saleen at Full Speed Racing, it’s finally Robert Dierick, a Belgian driver that will take the seat. The Belge has started 6 times in FIA-GT, the last one going back to 2002 in a Chrysler Viper GTS-R of Paul Belmondo Racing.
