Participating in Le Mans 24 Hours means Morand Racing team will be in Le Mans next weekend for the traditionnal Test day. The team co-owned by Joe Genoud and Benoit Morand will enjoy a complete test day on the iconic Le Mans track and the duo of drivers seen on the podium of Imola 3 weeks ago, namely Franck Mailleux and Natacha Gachnang will be joined by Olivier Lombard behind the wheel of the Morgan Judd in the LM P2 category.

Before leaving for Le Mans, the team performed a last test on May 30th in St Triphon (Vaud canton, Switzerland) where this ultimate session on a closed road before tidying up the car in the truck gave Natacha Gachnang a last opportunity to check the car.

There, the team welcomed their partners in front of supporters and was also met by a very special guest as Didier Défago, downhill 2010 Olympic gold medallist and 4 times winner in World Cup (including Kitzbuhel and Wengen 2009) came to support his fellow countrywoman.

“This presentation and the last few kilometers we performed there were a great opportunity to introduce our Morgan powered by Judd to the Swiss public before leaving for Le Mans. Our team is ready to rise to this amazing challenge in Le Mans. We are well aware that competition is as professionnal as our technical and human combo is ! We have been able to show our pace in Silverstone and even more so in Imola and we have steadily and relentlessly been working every day since that last race. Our drivers know this iconic and atypical race as Franck finished on the podium in 2010 while Natacha was racing in GT category that very same year whereas Olivier won the LM P2 category 2 years ago for his part.”
