DeltaWing Racing Cars names new public relations manager.

DeltaWing Racing Cars today announced Diane Swintal as its Public Relations Manager, effective immediately. Swintal will be responsible for coordinating all media-related activities for the revolutionary DeltaWing race car, which competes in the American Le Mans Series.

Swintal draws on 20 years of media experience in the motorsports and automotive industries. Before joining the DeltaWing team, Swintal coordinated public relations efforts for the three International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) Development Series, overseeing driver promotions, social media campaigns and website management. Additionally, she coordinated motorsports public relations efforts for American Honda, working with promoters, race teams and dealers on the company’s open-wheel racing program. Most recently she managed events and media for Audi Mission Viejo, one of the leading Audi dealerships in Orange County, California.

“We are delighted to have Diane join the DeltaWing Racing Cars team,” said Managing Director Dr. Don Panoz. “She has extensive experience in motorsports and we are fortunate to have had experience with her in the past during her association with IMSA. Diane’s many media and PR skills will benefit our fans and our team.”

 

The DeltaWing embodies a new era of eco-friendly technological advancement, with nearly half the weight, aerodynamic drag, horsepower and fuel consumption of its competitors. Automobile magazine named the DeltaWing its 2013 “Racing Car of the Year.”
