Swedish team PFI Racing will be back with two Porsche 997 cars to defend its Cup class win in the inaugural Gulf 12 Hours when the second running of the event takes places at Yas Marina on December 12.

Johan Lofkvist, Patrik Skoog and Mikael Bender formed the victorious trio first time around and at least two of the team will be back for another endurance classic amid the first class facilities of the Abu Dhabi grand prix venue.

PFI will field the same Porsche 997 that won the first Gulf 12 Hours. The second car usually races in the Swedish Porsche Carrera GT Cup under the colors of Jorgensen Racing.
