The official Le Mans test day was a success for our team. Jens Petersen and Bastien Brière had to make the mandatory 10 laps to be allowed to race on Le Mans. This is done. On his side, Shinji Nakano, already qualified (he took part at the 2011 race) discovered the team and the car.

Jens Petersen : “My performance satisfies me, especially if you think this is only the second time I drive the car, and the first time in Le Mans. I have had a lot of traffic during my fastest lap. I think we can improve the laptime, but the most important here is the reliability”.

Bastien Brière : “The car progressed in the good direction. We know that we have to improve for the next tests. We had no problem on the car and this is a good start”.

Olivier Lainé (team manager) : “Our aim was to accumulate as much information as possible on the track, as it is the first time we race here with a LMP2. Our drivers are now qualified and we are now focusing on the next steps”.

Shinji Nakano :“I am so happy to be back in the cockpit of a race car after a year. The team did a fantastic job providing us with a good car finishing the test without a hitch. This is the first time with the Boutsen Ginion team, who creates a good working atmosphere for us. I can’t wait for the race week-end !”.

Coming next at Le Mans : Our LMP2 car in on pole position for the technical check planned on Sunday 10th of June. The free practices will start on Wednesday 13th of June, and the start of the race is foreseen for Saturday 16th of June at 3 pm. In the meantime, follow us on our website.
