ROWE Mineralölwerk GmbH and MSC Ruhr-Blitz Bochum e.V., organiser of the highlight in the VLN, the 6 Hour Race, conclude an agreement on the title sponsorship for the “ROWE 6 Hour ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen”. The event will run as seventh of the ten rounds at the Nürburgring next year. The date for the 6 Hour racing highlight in the season 2016 is the 3rd September. At the same time, ROWE thus confirms the successful cooperation with the VLN which the independent German lubricants manufacturer supports as official series sponsor already since 2009.

VLN is the most popular grassroots series in Europe and continues to attract fans and media likewise. The VLN has become an important platform for ROWE in many respects. In addition to the engagement as series and title sponsor, the company uses the VLN amongst others for testing and developing hightec lubricants by its own racing team, which has found its home at the Nürburgring Nordschleife since 2011 and which has already been able to score several victories there. In the next years, too, ROWE intends to support the participating teams and the partners in the VLN with various special activities.
About the 6h Race
The organiser of the VLN 6 Hour Race is the MSC Ruhr-Blitz Bochum e.V. im ADAC. Next season, the race will take place on 3rd September 2016 at the Nürburgring as seventh within the total of ten rounds. It represents the highlight in the VLN racing calendar as it is the only event to run over a duration of six hours.
