The team Molitor-Racing-Systems around Iris Dorr and Karsten Molitor will start in their third ADAC GT Masters season with two Nissan GT-R GT3.

Last year the team was racing with a McLaren MP4-12C GT3, but this year the team from Lonsee near Ulm goes for a manufacturer change.

Karsten Molitor: „The ADAC GT Masters is one of the strongest contested GT3 racing series in Europe; here you can just exist when you are on a par with the professional teams. In cooperation and with the support of Nissan Germany and the Nismo representation JRM we found conditions that enable a competitive participation. Already now we are very comfortable with the Nissan family, the last success of the GT-R GT3, the victory at the 12 hours race in Bathurst, Australia, showed that the Nissan is one of the fastest GT3 cars.”

The MRS team can confirm as first driver the Nissan GT-Academy graduate Florian Strauß. The 30 year old from Berlin was the winner of the GT-Academy competition in 2013 and in his young career he has already participated in four 24 hours races for Nissan. Lately the team reached a second position in the Pro-AM class at the 24 hours of Dubai and a spectacular overall victory at the 12 hours race in Bathurst.

Who will share the work behind the steering wheel with Florian Strauß as well as the driver line-up for the second car is not certain at this point. Shortly the first car will be delivered with which will immediately start the preparation tests.

Since 20 years now Molitor-Racing-Systems is successful in the international motorsport. Next to the participation since 13 years in the Porsche one-make cups the team was racing in all important European racing series. Lately the MRS team participated with two McLaren MP4-12C GT3 in the ADAC GT Masters and in the Blancpain Series against the strong European GT competitors.
