Loïc Duval will enjoy the support of Swiss air company Fly 7 in 2015 after embarking on a third FIA World Endurance Championship campaign as a works Audi Sport LMP1 driver.
Racing against time is Duval’s area of expertise, as demonstrated by his 2013 Le Mans 24 Hours victory and subsequent WEC title a few months later. With the world’s greatest race fast approaching, the Frenchman is extremely busy preparing for the challenge ahead. And that’s where Fly 7 comes in.
“When you factor in races, test sessions, trips to the Neuburg factory and PR events, being a works endurance driver for Audi keeps you pretty busy,” said Duval. “On one occasion, I couldn’t find a suitable flight for my needs so, on a friend’s advice, I used Fly 7 and was hugely impressed with the service they provided. From now on, travelling with Fly 7 means I can save valuable time in comfort, helping to optimise my race preparation.”
Based at Lausanne-Blecherette airport, Fly 7 Executive Aviation has been operating a fleet of eight Pilatus PC-12s since 2010 within its private club, Seven Aviation. With Hendell Aviation as an exclusive partner, it was granted an Air Operator Permit by Finland’s Civil Aviation authority in February 2015, enabling the airline to embark on commercial operations. Fly 7 also encompasses 24/7 flight brokerage, counsel from experts in private jets and high-end concierge services.
The Pilatus PC-12/NG has gained a reputation for outstanding versatility, performance and reliability, drawing inspiration from its homeland’s diverse terrain. The Executive is the ultimate business aircraft, accommodating up to eight passengers in the greatest comfort, while its side cargo door allows for a wide range of luggage and equipment.
“We’re delighted and proud to join forces with a world champion like Loïc, especially after he moved to the Lausanne region,” said Fly 7 VP Sales & Marketing Marc Degoumois. “We hope the Pilatus PC-12 bearing his name will provide a smooth journey any time he travels. Next destination: the WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (May 2), before the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours (June 13-14).”
Loïc’s Pilatus PC-12 will be officially unveiled on April 21 at Lausanne-Blecherette airport in Switzerland. No doubt this will help the works Audi Sport driver soar to victory in 2015.
