The success in the 2015 Ferrari Challenge Europe and the Blancpain Endurance Series has been filed. Now it’s time for the last race in the 2015 season for Kessel Racing: The Gulf 12 Hours. For several years the race in Abu Dhabi has been considered the traditional finale of the endurance race motor sport season.
Kessel Racing will start with three Ferrari 458 GT3 on the Yas Marina circuit from 9 to 11 December. In the “PRO” class with Michal Broniszewski, Giacomo Piccini and Davide Rigon. In the “Gentleman” class two cars will go onto the track: one with Alexis De Bernardi, Loris Capirossi and Niki Cadei and another with Vadim Gitlin, Michael Lyons and Marco Zanuttini, while the latter won the “Gentleman” class in 2014.
This year the Italian three-time MotoGP World Champion Loris Capirossi will start with a Ferrari 458 GT3 from Kessel Racing. This will be an exciting challenge for the Italian driver and a reason to be proud for the Team from Grancia.
Capirossi will join other famous names from the MotoGP world, who already competed with cars from Kessel Racing: in 2012 MotoGP-phenomenon Valentino Rossi competed with a Ferrari from Kessel Racing in two races in the Blancpain Endurance Series, while last year at Yas Marina the reigning MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo drove a Ferrari managed by the Team from Grancia to win the Gulf 12 Hours.
