José Luis Abadín dons his helmet and will drive a Team Icer Brakes Norma M20

José Luis Abadín, a Spaniard participating in several open-wheeled single-seater series, has confirmed his participation in the Maxi Endurance 32 at the wheel of a Norma M20 entered by Team Icer Brakes.

This driver born in Orense has focused his career on single-seater racing. After his debut in go-karts, he debuted in the Master Junior Formula placing 3rd overall at the end of the year. Shortly after he competed in the European F3 Open, achieving several wins and podiums among Copa contenders and his achievements also include outstanding overall results. Then, in 2011, the Spanish racer took a major leap when he debuted in the FIA Formula Two Championship. After two years, what better place than Maxi Endurance 32 to don his helmet again.

He will team up with Javi Villa, Salvador Tineo and a fourth Spanish young ace, to be announced before long.

José Luis Abadín, pleased confirming his participation, expressed “I ́m extremely motivated because Maxi Endurance is an opportunity I could not let go, as we will try to set a world record and it ́s the ideal moment to drive a racing car again. I would like to perform well, Maxi Endurance 32 is a landmark event and I want to achieve a good result for my sponsors, Gadisa and Florindo, supporting at all times. I ́m looking forward to driving the Team Icer Brakes Norma M20 and, if possible, to achieve the feat for the team.”
