Next weekend, the Italian GT Championship 2015 come to its conclusion, with the 7th round scheduled at Mugello. The sparkling 2015 season of the series, one of the top GT competitions at European level this year, will live its final moment.
Joel Camathis and Mauro Calamia, the two Swiss drivers of Autorlando Sport, will try to finish the year on a high, after having proved able, in the first half of the season, to approach cars faster than their Porsche 911R. Joel, in any case, is completely determined to go for it, although it is expected that the two races in Tuscany, decisive for all titles, will be very closely-fought.
Joel Camathias:
“We get to the final round of the Italian GT and it is always a pleasure to go to Mugello, a track for real driving. The series already visited it last July and our pace was quite good then. I hope that this time too, we can find the right set-up for our Porsche on that hilly track. Nothing will be easy, though, as all title fights are still open, with quite a few potential candidates that will be very werll prepared and determined. But maybe because of that, we, who have nothing to lose and will have no pressure, can benefit from the fights at the forefront.”
