JBR Motorsport & Engineering establishes a junior program in GT3 and TCR racing as of 2016’s season. After having worked successfully with young drivers in formula racing, the team is debuting in GT and touring car racing participating in the 2016 season of ADAC GT Masters, ADAC TCR Germany and DMV-GTC. Therewith, the team consistently follows its vision to offer young race talents a comprehensive motorsports education.

Having been established successfully with JBR’s youngsters in ADAC Formula Masters and Formula 3, once again JBR’s educational concept is based on 3 pillars: the development of driving skills such as car technology and basic principles like braking, driving turns and tyre management, driving dynamics and car set-up, training of mental and physical fitness as well as the field of marketing in combination with media work. In support of the different educational fields the team makes use of continuous performance diagnostics, simulator training and technology workshops, guided mental and fitness training and nutrition, as well as media training and guidance for sponsor acquisition. Factory visits and internship within the team’s partner network e.g. Audi Sport Customer Service complete the holistic junior program offering rookies an intense education with interesting insights and important contacts for their future development.

The program is designed for a period of two years with the contents adapting dynamically to the driver’s evolution and to requirements arising from current developments. The offer primarily addresses youngsters of the team while experienced JBR drivers also have it at their disposal. The participation in the program comes without any additional costs for JBR drivers (excl. possible travel expenses, fees and possible service costs of providers).

JBR offers GT3 cockpits in a new Audi R8 LMS and TCR cockpits (TCR Seat and VW Golf) of the newest generation. The team will compete in all races of ADAC Masters GT, ADAC TCR Germany and DMV-GTC. The GT3 testing program starts in March 2016. From February 20-21, 2016 there will be testing possibilities for TCR held on the in-house test track in Alkersleben, Germany.
