Danish Ferrari outfit Insight Racing will be on the grid for the 24 hour race with Anders Fjordbach alongside team regulars Martin Jensen and Dennis Andersen.

The 24 years old racer living ind Hamburg, Germany, has previously raced in both the Pro-class of the BlancPain Endurance Series as well as racing in endurance races internationally and the Danish DTC series. A class win in the 24H of Dubai in 2015 stands out as one of the young Dane’s achievements.

This means a strong all-Danish line up for the fourth round of the BES in the twice around the clock race at Spa-Francorchamps on the 25th of July. And Insight Racing Denmark are full of optimism after securing fifth place in the previous round of the series and a good testing day at the Belgian track.

Martin Jensen, teammanager and driver:

“We are thrilled that we have managed to strike a deal with Anders Fjordbach for the Total 24 Hours of Spa. Besides him being a very quick driver, boosting our chances in a race, where we have previously shone, this makes it the first all Danish team for this particular 24 hour race.

All in all it is going to be super exiting to race once again on this legendary track. We have a great team, super team spirit and last time out we showed, that we are able to race at the front of the class.

The 24 hour race at Spa will as always come up with lots of challenges, among other things the well-known weather in the Ardennes. The large field of cars will also give some challenges, also in our Pro/Am class with a grid of very strong teams. We do hope and believe that we will be able to deliver.”

Dennis Andersen, driver:

“The 24H of Spa is always a special occasion with great atmosphere and crowd – everyone in the team is really excited about this cool track. The combination of Spa, 24 hours and drastic weather always add a bit of extra spice.

This year we will be sharing the car with Anders, a third Dane for our car, and that adds a bit as well. And it doesn’t hurt, that we know how quick Anders can be.

We are ready and we’re looking forward to racing!”

Anders Fjordbach, driver:

“I’m so pleased with the brilliant news about the Total 24H of SPA!

After we stopped racing in the endurance series, I was devastated! I have looked forward to this races all year. And now Insight Racing Denmark and Polar Seafood are making my dreams come true!!

It’s my first time this year in the Pro/Am class, until now I only ran in the Pro-class, but with our driver lineup at Insight Racing I’m sure we have a good chance for some good results, although the class looks pretty strong.”
