Balfe Motorsport will be contesting five rounds of the International GT Open this year. The  UK outfit of GT enthusiasts has been visiting the series regularly in the past and intends to step up its effort this year. At the moment, it plans to be present at Estoril, Silverstone, Spa, Monza and Barcelona with its Ferrari F458 GT3, entrusted to its usual pair formed of Shaun Balfe and Phil Keen.

“We are a family team and race for fun, although we aim at doing things professionally”, explains Shaun Balfe, “We always enjoy a lot our GT Open outings and aim at doing more this year. Our car has been updated during the winter and we will start testing at Silverstone at the end of March. We will be ready for our debut at Estoril and then our home race at Silverstone. After that, we should be at Spa and we are excited to go to Monza for the first time, bringing our Ferrari at its home, before the traditional Barcelona season-closer”.
