EUROGTSPRINT continues to generate interest and to add top names to the 2014 driver line- up. Campaigning a Porsche 911 GT3-R from the opening round at Monza (April 6th) will be a new name in the series, Krypton Motorsport.

At his fifth year in the international series, Glauco Solieri will remain under the Porsche banner for 2014. The Bologna-based racer, who started off as a Ferrari man, moved to the Porsche camp during the last three years and has contested every GTSPRINT season to date.

Solieri, the series’ 2013 runner-up, will be racing for Stefano Pezzucchi and his squad, and they are currently preparing a 911 GT3-R with a special livery dedicated to their driver.

“I’m very satisfied to have reached an agreement with Glauco Solieri, a driver that I always admired for his performance and professionalism – said Krypton Motorsport Team Principal Stefano Pezzucchi – we will do everything we can to support him throughout the season. We’re confident, determined and we can’t wait to line-up for the first race at Monza”.

“I’m ready to start this new challenge alongside Team Krypton – said Solieri – I’ve been following them for quite some time. I really respect Stefano Pezzucchi both as a driver and as an entrepreneur. I will be working again with Technical Director Lorenzo Martinelli, an engineer that has already collaborated with me for several seasons. There’s good chemistry between us. I believe we have all what it takes to enjoy a successful season”.
