GDL/De Lorenzi Racing launches its 2014 campaign. Ravenna-based team, involved in all the major GT series, announces its participation with the new Porsche 991 to the next year’s Carrera Cup Italia championship and some of the international endurance events such as the Nürburgring, Spa-Francorchamps, Barcelona and Dubai 24 Hours.

Gianluca De Lorenzi’s team will receive on November 10 the new model of the Porsche car that will replace the oldest 911 GT3 Cup MY 2011 in all the European national Porsche single-maker series since the next season, planning to enter the 6 Hours of Rome (Vallelunga) scheduled for November 16th, 17th.

The 991 Porsche MY 2014, unveiled by Porsche Italia last Saturday in Monza, is powered by a boxer 3.8 litres engine of 460 Hp (10 more respect the car used in 2013) and is more performing and safer and is equipped by a modern paddle-shift at the steering wheel.

GDL/De Lorenzi Racing confirmed its interest in 2014 Carrera Cup Italia in order to continue its long tradition in the competitions linked to the Porsche brand.
