Scuderia Villorba Corse has inaugurated the 2015 International GT Open with a sparkling win of its Ferrari 458 with the new crew formed by Alessandro Balzan and Nicola Benucci. Italian pair is now ready for the second round of the season to be held at Estoril over the weekend of May 10. In Portugal the team led by Raimondo Amadio will make its debut on this very demanding track, where Balzan/Benucci have to confirm their ambitions after their victory at Le Castellet. Second GT Open round kicks off with two free practice sessions on Friday. First qualifying session is scheduled on Saturday at 10:35 while the 70-minute race-1 will take place at 14:55. Second qualifying session is on Sunday at 9:40 with race-2 (60 minutes) at 12.55. Both races will be broadcasted live on www.gtopen.net (clicking on WEB TV) and on several international TV channels, pan-European Motors TV among others.

Raimondo Amadio, Team Principal, said: “After a very good season opener at Le Castellet we are ready for our first time at the circuit of Estoril, one of the few we have never visit before in Europe. We need to fit our car and the whole squad to a new track. It will be a tough racing weekend for sure but I believe that Balzan and Benucci can do well, they can clinch valuable points for the championship”.
