Proving that it’s always best to aim high, the FFF Racing Team and its drivers Edoardo Liberati and Andrea Amici took the chequered flag in a fine second position today in round five of the GT Asia Series at Okayama International Circuit.
Having completed a comprehensive test programme in practice, qualifying all went to plan with the Liberati qualifying the #55 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in second place. The race itself saw Liberati take the first stint and following the pitstop – where category compensation times are added – Amici resumed in seventh position.
Amici was able to charge back through the field, taking second position on the penultimate lap and making it yet another podium position for the FFF Racing Team.
FFF Racing Team Owner, Sean Fu Songyang, said: “It was a great all round performance by the team and the drivers to take some really good championship points and this keeps us firmly in the hunt for the GT Asia championship title.”
Round six gets underway tomorrow, Sunday 3 July, at 12.30 local time.
