It’s all systems go for the FIA GT World Cup on the Guia circuit on 19-22 November as the city prepares for the race. The field announced at the beginning of October consists of five manufacturers and the best GT drivers including five former winners in the streets of Macau. More names have been added to the list of entries in recent days.
After Aston Martin designated Richard Lyons and Stefan Mücke, John Shen has also joined the pack. He will drive the #68 Porsche 997 GT3R entered by the Modena Motorsports team. The Canadian, who has been racing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia for several seasons has, like many of his rivals, first-hand experience of the Guia circuit.
In addition, Porsche has fine-tuned its line-up in view of the manufacturers’ title. Thai driver, Vutthikorn Inthraphuvasak, is down to drive the Est Cola Racing team’s #9 997 GT3R and will defend the make’s colours with Earl Bamber and Dylan Derdaele.
