The GT Open round at will see on track Wessex Motorsport, the newly created British squad based in Salisbury and headed by Nigel Mustill. This will be only the second race in its life for the British outfit, which made its debut recently at Thruxton in the Britcar.

The squad runs a Lamborghini Gallardo REX in a black and yellow livery and will entrust it to a stellar duo composed of Thomas Enge and Craig Dolby, two renowned international GT stars. Both the 39-year-old Czech (a former F.1 driver and Le Mans GT winner) and the 28-year-old Brit (who has shone in the SLF) have been sporadic GT Open contenders in the past. Given the drivers’ status, the pair will balanced against the competition.
