There’s been a small change to this weekend’s Avon Tyres British GT Championship #DoningtonDecider entry list which now features Bradley Ellis aboard the RAM Racing Mercedes SLS AMG GT3.

The 28-year-old began 2015 aboard Twisted Team Parker’s Ginetta G55 but steps up to GT3 alongside Lewis Plato after business commitments forced regular co-driver Alistair MacKinnon’s late withdrawal.

The appearance of two Pros aboard the Mercedes also sees it move into the Silver Cup classification alongside title contenders Ahmad Al Harthy (Oman Racing Team) and Von Ryan Racing’s Andrew Watson/Ross Wylie.

Plato, whose best result of the season came with a fourth place at Rockingham, is hoping a new co-driver might bring with him a change of luck.

“It has been a difficult season. Despite our best efforts, we have never been able to achieve the optimum-qualifying set-up on the car. This has hurt us in the races and made the job on track difficult. Having Bradley join us for the final round is great, and I am looking forward to seeing what we can do in the race.”
