As the world rings in the New Year, sports car racing’s newest online authority kicks into high gear, with the announcement of new partners, writing talent and an expansion of European coverage.

Launched in September 2013, Sportscar365 has quickly become the leading independent news source for worldwide coverage of endurance and GT racing. More than 1 million page views have been recorded in the site’s first four months of operation, with visitors from 165 different countries.

Adding to the momentum is the addition of Continental Tire as the presenting sponsor of Sportscar365’s TUDOR United SportsCar Championship content, along with a multi-faceted partnership with Endurance-Info.com, Europe’s leading destination for sports car racing news, that will further strengthen its global reach.

Additionally, Sportscar365 welcomes motorsports journalists Tony DiZinno and Vincent Wouters, who will help provide expanded coverage in North America and Europe, respectively. They will work alongside site founder and editor, John Dagys, who will continue to anchor Sportscar365’s day-to-day content.

“This is a big day for Sportscar365 as we take the next leap forward,” Dagys said. “With the changing media landscape, and the site’s rapid growth, it’s clear that we helped fill a void for sports car racing news. Now the task is to take it one step further. I’m convinced that with our new partners in Continental Tire and Endurance-Info, along with the addition of Tony and Vincent to the team, we’ll be able to grow this platform to new levels.”

A key part of Sportscar365’s expansion comes with Continental, the exclusive tire partner for three TUDOR Championship classes and entitlement sponsor of the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge. A new “Driver of the Week” feature will launch later this month, profiling some of the most interesting and successful IMSA drivers in the paddock. Fans will be able to submit questions to the drivers via Twitter, which would then be included in each feature.

“We’re looking forward to working with Sportscar365,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing for Continental Tire. “Our partnership with Sportscar365 is an extension of our commitment to IMSA fans and teams, as well as the sport of auto racing. John’s built a great site that has quickly become the ‘go to’ place to get all the latest sports car racing news and content so it’s a nice addition to our overall efforts.”

Boosting Sportscar365’s foothold in Europe is a new partnership with French language site, Endurance-Info. Founded in 2006, it has become the leading destination for news on the Blancpain GT Series, European Le Mans Series, 24 Hours of Le Mans and more. Content from Editor-in-Chief Laurent Mercier and Claude Foubert will be featured on Sportscar365, along with the pooling of resources between the two websites to further enhance coverage.

“Endurance Info is very proud to establish a partnership with Sportscar365,” Mercier said. “We want to grow its worldwide coverage and Sportscar365 is the perfect media for this expansion. With this partnership, we are convinced U.S. fans will be able to have more information on European championships, like the Blancpain Sprint and Endurance Series or European Le Mans Series. It’s a real pleasure to share our content with Sportscar365.”

Expanded coverage will also come in the form of two new writing additions to the Sportscar365 team. DiZinno, a graduate of Marquette University and contributor to NBCSports.com, will support coverage of the TUDOR Championship, while Belgian native Wouters, a corespondent for autosport.be, will focus his efforts on the Blancpain Sprint and Endurance Series.

Sportscar365’s 2014 trackside coverage begins this weekend at Daytona International Speedway for the “Roar Before the Rolex 24,” followed by the Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai on Jan. 9-11, which kicks off the international endurance racing season. The 52nd annual Rolex 24 at Daytona is set for Jan. 25-26, followed by the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour just two weeks later.

Shortly before its fourth birthday, Endurance-Info is getting ready to tackle another challenge. To cover a discipline that continues to grow, we have decided to launch a new media at the start of the 2010 season. We call this new facet of our coverage Endurance-TV!

While Endurance-Info and Endurance-TV are linked, our goals and aspirations remain clear for this new media. We aim to not only introduce a new part of the site, but an entirely new adventure with new goals with a new look and feel. This is why you will find some familiar faces on Endurance-TV, but also some new ones.

We invite you to discover endurance racing in a new way, with a new approach including the sights and sounds of the action with behind the scenes footage with reactions and interviews before, during and after the race! Hot news items will be available as well as longer, more in depth stories.

Like a prototype taking to the track for the first time, this launch is in the beginning stages and several details still need to be worked out. That said, we already have diverse content: an candid interview with Romain Dumas, a story on OAK Racing’s shakedown, which will be followed by several interviews, and a piece on the technical aspects of the ORECA program with David Floury. Other subjects will be available soon. Stay tuned

Since May 25th, 2006, Endurance-Info gives you daily endurance racing news. 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Le Mans Series, whatever the Series is American, European or Asian, or also FIA-GT, SUPER GT… We cover now regularly more than fifteen championships. We have been improving unceasingly for more than three years : that is why we launched last March a new version of our website, E-I 2.0, with an English section.

To cover at our best the Endurance planet and to keep going ahead, we are wishing today to extend our staff. Endurance-Info is looking for a writer (man or woman). One of the drivers will be Olivier Pla. For other details, feel free to imagine them. We thank you too for introducing yourself (wishes, desires, availability…) and for specifying your name, first name, age and language(s). English-speaking friends, we are looking also for a translator.

Endurance-Info 2.0 starts its engine!

The new Endurance-Info is here! We started about three years ago, and now, the whole team reaches a turning point. When setting off on the big adventure, we didn’t hide that we aim at becoming a professional media. We have since always worked with this end: our content shows it with near twenty covered series and more than 6,700 articles online! But we need a new tool to gear up. It’s about done thanks to Laurent Mathieu (Shin-ji Communication).

We want this new to tool to be more professional and user-friendlier. For visibility reasons, we got rid of our traditional black background. We are fully aware that our visitors need time to get used to it, but we are convinced that we made the right decision. For those who are nostalgic, Endurance-Info 1.0 remains available. It is part of our history and we will always try to remain ourselves growing. Our main driving force is passion. That’s what makes us move forward. We will follow the same editorial line as well, giving priority to the high level of Endurance – Le Mans and its series – although keeping our diversity. We also wish to develop the website’s interactivity: we maintain the forum, a place of debate and exchange, and in the same time, we launch a new photo gallery, which is open to our visitors: you are now more than welcome to share your pictures! We tell you more about it very soon.

In order to come closer to our goal – to become a professional media – we are glad to announce a new partnership with Le Mans Racing. The magazine, which is a reference in the field, is now going forward along with us through a devoted part of the website. We are pleased and honored to receive this support.

Endurance-Info 2.0: more and more !

With the new version of Endurance-Info, we want to improve on every matter. We did not delete any column, but added some. Besides the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the traditional championships such as Le Mans Series, ALSM and FIA-GT, we will continue to go round the Planet Endurance, with for instance all the GT championships. We will keep on covering Grand Am, SUPER GT, booming GT Open or VLN and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, that you obviously liked because it is unique. Finally, a new column is arriving: Supercar. You will so discover the future super- but also… road-cars.

Since we want to bring you more and more, a new photo gallery is online, with more pictures. This part has its own search engine so you can find your favorite pictures classified by championship, by date, by track, by driver or by photographer. You shall find more and more videos and a brand new heading: Results. A few clicks get you straight to the… results which fully complete our articles and interviews. The live-text has been upgraded as well, so you can even more enjoy races live.

We arrive on the international scene !

French-speakers are not the only ones to visit our website! Upon a lot of professionals and race-lovers request, we decided to start an English version of our website. We are aware that the challenge is huge, but we are ready to take it up. The content of this “In English” version will grow as time goes by and we hope that visitors coming from other countries or continents will enjoy.

New things are numerous. We let you find them out and we welcome you to Endurance-Info 2.0. We hope that you will enjoy it and that it will meet your expectations. More than ever we want to give you the best and only the best. A new chapter starts for the whole team. The first one has been exciting and we hope that the new one is even more exciting! We have grown with you and we would like to grow more, but still and always with you !
